Hertford Garage was opened in 1935 to replace two garages at Ware. During the fifties it wass the only country garage to operate the 'prewar' RT which was necessary to comply with a weight restriction on a local bridge crossed by route 327.
In the sixties it was one of the first garages to operate the RMC coaches. It closed in 1989. The half reliefmodel is approximately 28" wide (allowing for yard between the two buildings). The doors can be posed open or closed as desired.
