The original garage had been built on the site of an old railway station.
After the war it was rebuilt being completed in 1954 in LTs classic architectural style.
The half relief model depicts the entrance and exit roads and has a relatively large covered area. It measures approximately 26" x 15". The site also contained a bus station (not included).
